What kinds of financing options are available for me at your practice?
Financing cosmetic surgery can be an excellent option for many patients. Dr. Mizuguchi continues to monitor financing options and make the most attractive programs available to our clients. Incredibly, financing is possible for short-term loans with no interest.
CareCredit
A program designed through the use of a special credit card utilized for cosmetic surgery, CareCredit offers two types of payment plans. The first is a 3-month plan with no interest when at least minimum monthly payments are made and the balance is paid off within 3 months; otherwise, interests rates apply from the purchase date. The other is a 48-month payment plan with low interest based upon your credit history. You can apply online anytime or reach CareCredit at their toll free number, 800-365-8295.
Do you accept loans or other financing options at your practice?
A home equity loan is another excellent financing option available for cosmetic surgery. Home equity loan interest payments are generally tax deductible. Please contact your personal banker for more information.
A credit card payment is another option available for financing the entire procedure or possibly only the surgery deposit. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

How soon could I have a consultation with you?
Consultation is usually done when you are ready to have surgery within a short period of time.
How much would the implants interfere with mammograms?
Women with breast implants will require special attention during a mammogram. Most radiology technicians are familiar with breast implants and a simple disclosure is all that is necessary. Special compression views are often required, as the breast tissue needs to be isolated away from the implant.
How many breast augmentations do you perform each year?
Dr. Mizuguchi performs over a hundred breast augmentation each year.
How long have you been performing breast augmentations?
I have been performing breast augmentation for almost ten years.
Are you board certified? If so, by what board?
Dr. Mizuguchi is a dual board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery.

What happens if I don’t like the turnout of my breast implants? Are there revision options? What are the costs of these?
My goal is to give you the best possible result as will be discussed based on your anatomy. Rarely revisions are necessary. If this does occur, there will be a facility charge ($500/hr) and anesthesia charge ($300/hr). My fee is usually waived for the first year for any revisions. Any thing after the first year up to my discretion as other factors may contribute to the changes (i.e. pregnancy). I feel that I am very fair regarding revision rates.
What are the three most common complications that you encounter in breast augmentation surgery?
Late complication include implant deflation and capsular contracture.
What are the three most common risks with saline breast augmentations in your practice?
Patients may be able to feel the edges of the implants. In some cases, the edges of the implants may be visible.
What will I experience during pregnancy and after because of my breast implants?
Your breast will naturally enlarge from pregnancy. Your implants will not be harmed.
Who is the manufacturer of the implants we would be using?
I use both Mentor and Allergan (Natrelle) saline and silicone gel implants.
