Improving Breast Shape with Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation continues to remain the most requested cosmetic procedures in the United States.  The most effective way for improving breast shape is with breast augmentation.  Most women complain of lack of breast volume and focus on cup sizes.  Breast augmentation will most certainly add volume to you breast but can also drastically improve the shape of your breasts. Breast implants have shape that your own breasts tissue will surround and cover.  The goal is to have a good even distribution of your breast tissue covering the implant so that your breast and implant act as one unit.  When your  breast implant and your breast tissue move independently, you will have an unnatural appearance.  In this situation, you may benefit from a breast lift. Breast implants can be used to increase the volume in the upper part of your breasts.  Loss of volume in the upper part of the breast occurs as a normal aging process of your breasts.  The loss of the upper pole volume may be more noticeable after pregnancy and major weight loss.  Silicone gel breasts implants are better suited to accomplish this than saline breast implants.  Two new silicone gel breast implants now available are even better suited to accomplish adding volume to the upper pole: Sientra 107 HSC+ and Natrelle Inspira.  I have already discussed the use of these exciting new breast implants in the links above. This patient has a very narrow shaped breast with little or now fullness in her breasts.  Improving breast shape by using  silicone gel breast implants is highly effective.  The breast implant will increase fullness to the upper pole, improve the shape of the lower part of the breast, and maximize cleavage.  She had  360cc Natrelle Inspira SRM silicone gel breast implant placed in the under the muscle (sub muscular) through a fold incision.
